Thank you to all our SABM members for their attendance and interaction at the 2017 Annual Meeting. We had a total of 368 attendees take part in Portland, Oregon. Our Annual Meeting continues to be a place for seeing old friends, connecting with new ones and taking advantage of the opportunity for furthering our personal and professional education in Patient Blood Management (PBM).
Many thanks to our 26 exhibitors who provide constant support for SABM activities by showcasing their latest and greatest in PBM tools, tests, and technologies. We look forward to upcoming opportunities for industry collaboration.

Congratulations to the 71 graduates of the Certificate Course! Click the link to see your name in lights. The faculty enjoyed the interaction with attendees, and welcomes any input you might provide as we move forward with improving this comprehensive immersion PBM course.
Finally, don’t forget to obtain your copies of the 2nd Edition of the SABM Quality Guide as well as the 4th Edition of SABM Standards. These Standards can be used to accelerate adoption of evidence-based practices and clinical guidelines in any institution, bringing proven treatment and management strategies that improve patient outcomes at the bedside. SABM continues to be THE leader in PBM resources both nationally and internationally and is proud to provide members with these valuable resources.

Consider submitting your future manuscripts in PBM for peer review and publication in this new section. The success of this endeavor will depend on the provision of material to make it lively and attractive to our colleagues and other professionals in the field.
